Building a more inclusive Duke

At the Sikh Society of Duke University, our goal is to productively interact with the Duke and Durham communities and work towards building a more integrated society which is open to people from all walks of life.
Our primary channel for achieving this goal is to raise awareness of central ideas of the Sikh religion, such as universal oneness and the importance of community service. We organise religious and cultural activities on our campus that are open to anyone interested in joining. We also strongly believe in the value of collaboration with other student bodies, faculty members and Durham residents from different faiths and cultures, as a way to learn from one another in the process.
